Varicent Launches “YourCause” Employee Giving Program

December 1, 2020 – Toronto, ON – Varicent, the leading provider of next-generation Sales Performance Management (SPM) software, is pleased to announce the launch of “Varicent: YourCause”—the company’s employee giving program—in time for GivingTuesday, a global day of generosity taking place December 1st, 2020. The “Varicent: YourCause” Employee Giving Program provides team members globally the opportunity to connect to the causes that are important to them.

GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement, unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world. GivingTuesday strives to build a world in which the catalytic power of generosity is at the heart of the society we build together, unlocking dignity, opportunity, and equity around the globe. Created in 2012, it was born as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past nine years, this idea has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.

At Varicent, one of our core values is community. We believe the strength of community is built through connection, and in fulfilling this value it leads to further growth of our business, as well as contributing to society and the communities we serve,” said Karoline Chan, CHRO. “On December 1st, to coincide with GivingTuesday, we are launching the “Varicent: YourCause” Employee Giving Program, providing team members the opportunity to connect to the causes that are most important to them. We encourage team members to give the gift of time, skills, and monetary donations to support the communities in which we live, serve, and sell in.”

GivingTuesday also kicks off our Holiday Giving Drive to raise money to help individuals and families experiencing food insecurity. To encourage global team member giving, Varicent has pledged to donate $25,000 USD if we hit 98% participation by December 24th. This amount will be increased to $35,000 USD if team member participation hits 98% by December 11th.

“At a time when we are all experiencing the pandemic, generosity is what brings people of all races, faiths, and political views together across the globe,” said Marc Altshuller, CEO of Varicent. “Generosity gives everyone the power to make a positive change in the lives of others and is a fundamental value anyone can act on.”

GivingTuesday emphasizes opportunities to give back to communities and causes in safe ways that allow for social connection and kindness, even while practicing physical distancing. To learn more about the movement, visit givingtuesday.org.
