Selling Isn't the Problem. Can You Prove Your Plan Worked?
Nov 18 2:00pm GMT | 9:00am ET
Varicent surveyed 1,055 senior revenue leaders for its 2026 Market Spotlight to find out what actually predicts whether a team hits its number. The answer wasn't seller experience, company size, or market conditions, it was the quality of the revenue plan behind them. Companies with the strongest plans beat target 58% more often than the weakest. Leaders already sense this: 73% say improving the plan would do more for next year's number than improving how the team sells. But almost none of them can act on that belief with only 4% having any way to tell whether last year's plan decisions actually worked.
In this session, hear from Curtis Schroeder, Varicent's Head of Research, and Edward Moss, OpenSymmetry's Director of EMEA Sales, as they walk through the global findings and reveal where EMEA organizations have the most room to improve, using the results from your own pre-session scorecard. From there, they will cover the actions needed to close the gap between knowing where your plan breaks and fixing it before Q4.
