Daniel Pink, Author Of Drive, #1 New York Times Best Seller to Keynote Varicent Conference
February 16, 2012 (Toronto, ON) – Varicent Software Incorporated, a global leader in sales performance management (SPM) solutions, is anticipating a record turnout for its upcoming customer and partner conference, INSIGHT12, being held April 15 - 18, 2012 at the Palace Hotel, San Francisco, CA.
“After reading Drive, I knew Dan would be the perfect keynote for our conference. His thought-provoking content and excellent delivery will be a treat for our conference attendees” said Brian Hartlen, Vice President Marketing, Varicent. “He will be speaking about what drives people, particularly in a post-recession economy, and how motivational behaviors impact incentive compensation theories and practices.”
Daniel Pink’s book Drive draws on 50 years of behavioral science to overturn the conventional wisdom about human motivation and offer a more effective path to high performance. His articles on business and technology appear in many publications, including the New York Times, Harvard Business Review, Fast Company, Wired, and The Sunday Telegraph. Dan has provided analysis of business trends on CNN, CNBC, ABC, NPR, and other networks in the U.S. and abroad. He lectures to corporations, associations, and universities around the world on economic transformation and the new workplace.
INSIGHT12 attendees will have a unique opportunity to network with their peers, attend customer presentations, hear the latest product announcements, share ideas and meet with Varicent partners. Early sponsors of the conference include Deloitte, Microsoft and OpenSymmetry.
