CAREERS - Educational Services Specialist
Based out of Varicent’s Toronto headquarters, this position incorporates many aspects of education development and delivery:
- Work with SME’s to develop and maintain a course framework and materials for Varicent’s software products and processes
- Review and update existing curriculum
- Define learning objectives; breakdown learning objectives into teaching points and develop instructional flow
- Convey learning content into storyboard format for web and video development
- Delivery of training courses to customers, partners & new hires
Requirements:
- 2 years of education development experience
- Strong knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint applications.
- Relational Database experience an asset
- Commitment to information accuracy and precision
- Ability to prioritize and accomplish a diverse set of responsibilities
- Ability to effectively organize time and meet aggressive timelines
- An aptitude for mastering new software applications
The ideal candidate will also have strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills, along with a proven ability to work cooperatively as part of a team and able to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced, goal-driven environment.
