About the Conference
“Incentive Compensation” is a vital component in motivating employees and reinforcing strategic goals and initiatives. The Consumer Products and Financial Services Industries face similar challenges in defining and implementing an incentive compensation plan that will motivate the employees and encourage the organization’s long-range strategic goals. The BBRT is offering an Incentive Compensation Workshop for members of the Consumer Products Industry and the Financial Services Industry on September 27-29, 2006. This Workshop features Bennett Stewart, author of The Quest for Value and nationally recognized expert on “incentive compensation”, teaching attendees how to better define value-based measures and how to link compensation directly to value received by the organization.
The BBRT is offering this workshop in three (3) phases: On Wednesday, Sept. 27, the BBRT will launch the Consumer Products Interest Group with expert speakers and case studies from Unilever and Bose; On Thursday, Sept. 28 the Incentive Compensation Workshop will take place featuring Bennett Stewart, CEO of EVA Dimensions, Marc Altshuller, Exec VP Worldwide Field Operations of Varicent Software and Dave Corbett, Sr. Director of Product Management of Applix; and on Friday, Sept. 29, the Financial Services Interest Group will hold a meeting featuring a case implementation study of American Express’ using Rolling Forecasts and a second case study focusing on AIG using a driver-based approach to achieve excellence.
These meetings are open to members of the public who wish to learn more about the BBRT and adaptive planning. General attendance for each day is $500 and BBRT members attend at no cost. Please contact Kisty Fairchild at bbrtna@theplayergroup.com for more information or for questions about BBRT membership.
